Vocational Training for Students With Autism in Toledo, OH

Learning Skills, Building Independence

The G.O.A.L. Autism Day Program

Get involved in your community! G.O.A.L. offers life skills and vocational training for students with autism in Toledo, OH. Each day, program participants work at various locations in the community as either volunteers or paid employees. They work with trained job coaches who teach them the skills they need to maintain employment and live more independent lives.

Before leaving for the job site, enrolled teens and adults will work on money exchange and budgeting, weekly cooking classes, and trips to the store to teach independent living skills. Students also work on appropriate social skills, communication development, and common core curriculum subjects. Staff help all students with job interview skills and resume writing to assist them in finding employment in the community.
